- Significantly improves Blu-ray playback. Blu-ray is now much more tightly integrated into the application. The "Disable Blu-ray" option has been removed from the system settings.
- Lists now ignore initial articles (e.g. "The Beatles" will be listed in the B's, not the T's)
- Searches now utilize a "contains" model instead of a "starts with" model. So, a search for "Grail" would return "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."
- Adds numerous discrete RS-232 commands. See the System Reference Guide for the list of new commands.
- Adds ability to change the server that a Player (or Server/Player) is connected to.

- After updating, the resolution may rarely revert to an unsupported resolution. Press and hold the Menu button on the remote for 15 seconds to reset to 720p and then use the Settings menu to adjust to desired resolution.
- If power or the network is interrupted during the update process, the unit will need to be powered down via the front power button (brief press) and then the update will need to be manually restarted.
- Blu-ray support remains inconsistent. Certain Blu-ray discs will cause the unit to lock up. We recommend leaving the Blu-ray Support system setting "Disabled" for the moment.
