Sometimes power supplies fail. Not often, but when they do the things they power stop working. If that happens to be your light switches it can be a bad thing.
To prevent this, we offer an optional secondary power supply for the Starhub. If primary power gives out, the Starhub will automatically switch to secondary power and keep your house running smoothly. It will also send a message to the bridge calling for service so the primary power supply can be replaced as soon as possible.
