With the Colorado vNet CCTV Application, users can view video images from cameras on both local and remote networks. Simply press CAMERAS on your Vibe Color Touchscreen and voilá, the touchscreen allows you to monitor your security cameras. If the camera offers the capability, use the arrows to pan/tilt/zoom for different perspectives. It’s that easy.  The CCTV Application supports Panasonic and Axis network (IP) cameras as well as analog cameras via Panasonic and Axis video servers. Specifically, the Colorado vNet application will support:

The Colorado vNet CCTV Application works with network (IP) cameras from Axis and Panasonic. Cameras can be on the local network or remote networks.

As an integrated part of the Colorado vNet system, the same touchscreen that you use for controlling audio, lighting, climate, & security can also be used to display video from security cameras. With the touch of a button, see who’s at the front door, check on the kids in the playroom, or see what’s happening at the vacation house.
The CCTV Application Module enables the display of camera video on the touchscreens. It determines camera state and provides appropriate video information to the individual touchscreens. Simply connect the Ethernet port on the application module to the vNet LAN Ethernet switch.
Video servers (encoders) from Axis and Panasonic convert video from traditional analog security cameras into an IP stream making it possible to display the video from those analog cameras on a Vibe Touchscreen.
